By now you’ve probably seen a deluge of emails from local Salt Lake City restaurants explaining what they’re doing amidst the current Covid-19 outbreak. It goes without saying many of our locally independently restaurants will inevitably face increased difficulties during this concerning period. Sadly, many businesses won’t be able to survive the drop in business.
Already from our own data here at SLC Menu, we were seeing a 20% drop in website traffic for Utah restaurant menus. As of Wednesday 11th and the presidential address and NBA closure – we subsequently saw the decrease in traffic surge to over 30% by Thursday 12th. This number is similar to what we’re seeing reported in other markets too.
With all this in mind we’re going to start detailing any special offers, deals, services or updates from the local restaurant community on this page. For now it’s safe to assume your favorite restaurant is open – and eager – for your business!
